Position Title: Trade Finance Officer

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective handling of customer service delivery related to trade transactions in compliance with the existing bank policies and procedures, local and international regulation; shall also be responsible in identifying and driving business process innovations, risk and control management, people development and stakeholder relationship management..

Role Exposure:

• Oversees the incoming and outgoing communication through emails, calls including over-the-counter inquiries from clients, business units and branches.
• Analyses and provides resolutions on trade related matters with reference to bank existing policies and procedures, applicable regulatory rules and international trade principles and practices.
• Supervises the receiving and distribution of trade documentary requirements and ensures its timely advises and releases of processed trade transactions to the client.
• Performs the review and pre-approval of trade documentary requirements submitted by clients, earmarking of availment, signature verification, and registration of transaction in trade system and document imaging for intraday transactions.
• Ensures accurate and timely submission of the daily documentary deficiency report.
• Acts as a reliever to the Trade Services area office sites whenever necessary.
• Identify and drives project innovations to achieve efficient operations
• Assists in the review and recommend policies and process change.
• Ensures compliance with existing bank policies as well as with the circulars and memoranda issued by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), AMLC and other government regulatory bodies to minimize or eliminate regulatory and operational risks.

Performs other related functions that maybe assigned from time-to-time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree holder
• At least 5 years of working relevant work experience
