WHY JOIN PREMIUM AUDIT? The Premium Audit Commercial Operations Team is seeking a qualified candidate for an exciting opportunity. This position has service responsibilities to our customers and business partners. Accountabilities include meeting/exceeding performance standards for service, quality, productivity, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will provide support to the Premium Audit organization by finalizing completed audits and handling a variety of request to ensure Regulatory compliance. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION? The Premium Audit Review Associate is responsible for: • Analyzing completed auditor worksheets and voluntary reports of exposure for accuracy and adequacy (classifications, exposures, and operations). Identify opportunities or inconsistencies relating to exposures, business operations, classifications, and employee duties. • Calculating final net premium adjustments in accordance with insurance manuals, various state workers compensation bureaus, NCCI rules, rating and classification procedures. Supporting additional lines of Commercial business, such as General Liability, Auto, Inland Marine, Spectrum, Individual Risk, Specialty Construction, etc. • Initiates and responds to telephone and written inquiries relating to all phases of the audit process (i.e. Final, Re-audit, Dispute, Statutory, etc.) from insured's, agents, underwriters, auditors and other departments, as well as various State regulatory agencies as necessary. • In addition to audit processing and inquiries, will handle a diverse workload, including but not limited to, WC Bureau Criticisms, NCCI Error requests, Separation of Payroll/Claims records, and Audit status reports from Billing. • Successful candidates for this position will receive training at our center to ensure the ability to effectively and accurately navigate and interpret documented procedures, manuals, and reference documents/job aids. Ability to demonstrate effective independent judgment when processing work as required. Qualifications - External WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? The following skills and experience are required: • Associate Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Business concentration, or equivalent commercial insurance experience required. • Basic knowledge of all Commercial Lines of Business required (i.e. WC, Spectrum, General Liability, Auto, Marine, etc.); Premium Audit experience preferred. Strong financial analysis skills and mathematical ability. • Actively demonstrates the behaviors which underscore our organizational values and promotes engagement: integrity, teamwork, financial discipline, winning spirit, diversity and inclusion, and customer focus. • Strong Interpersonal, Communications (written & verbal) and Team Relationship Building skills. Proficiency in Excel functionality required. • Ability to embrace change (Change Champion) and handle multiple projects, including stretch assignments, and establish priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to effectively transition to multiple applications and databases seamlessly, possessing strong navigational skills. Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
