S&P is looking for a tax director to manage special projects including transfer pricing, cross-border international tax planning and reporting, and other projects within the corporate income tax team.

Impact:
S&P Global is seeking a Tax Director of Special Projects with extensive, practical experience in US international corporate tax matters. The primary responsibilities will be managing transfer pricing projects, international tax strategy, and US international tax reporting. The Tax Director will work with the existing team of experienced tax professionals managing complex transfer pricing and US international tax computations and identifying relevant planning ideas and tax saving opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage transfer pricing projects with internal and external teams;
  • Manage operation of intercompany arrangements with Legal, Treasury, and Accounting teams;
  • Oversee US international tax compliance and provision calculations;
  • Manage customer withholding tax documentation requirements, and
  • Other special projects as needed.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $121,757 to $213,964. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in US international tax gained at Big 4 accounting firm or equivalent.
  • Full accounting and/or tax qualification (equivalent to CPA or JD).
  • Excellent knowledge and awareness of US international tax rules.
  • Strong team management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills including the ability to interpret and document complex technical information in a clear and concise manner .
  • Ability to multi-task and complete assignments within required time constraints and deadlines.
  • Position must be able to identify and interact with various colleagues in other departments to resolve issues.
