The Role:
M&G Trustee Company Limited (MTCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of M&G PLC (M&G) , offers fiduciary and agency services in the debt capital markets space.
The business sits within the Private Markets division in Asset Management at M&G. There is a requirement for a dedicated Head of Corporate Trust to head up a team of 18 professionals and continue the successful development and expansion of the business and provide a consistent and strategic approach to pricing, business development and execution.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementation, origination and execution of trustee & agency services and have an excellent understanding of the corporate trust space.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the P&L for the corporate trust business. Identify and pursue growth opportunities and implement the relevant corporate trust solutions
- Coordinate and promote marketing and business development opportunities to gain access to new client base and strengthen existing relationships
- Define strategy to develop and implement new products/markets within the corporate trust/corporate services space. Supervise implementation, origination and execution of the corporate trust/corporate services solutions
- Manage the corporate trust team, promote accountability and respective and inclusive culture. Identify growth and development opportunities for the team
- Supervise the day to day operation to ensure service excellence, minimise operational risk and promote efficiencies
- Work with key internal partners and stakeholders in Finance, HR, Compliance, Risk, and Audit and represent the Corporate Trust team in the wider Private Markets leadership forum
- Own the governance framework for MTCL, attend the relevant Board meetings and update/liaise with the MTCL Board as appropriate
- Represent MTCL at conferences and external events
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
This role is ideally suited to someone who can demonstrate:
- Excellent understanding of the corporate trust/corporate services industry and capital markets space
- Ability to think strategically and independently lead origination, execution and implementation
- Ability to lead and coordinate the implementation of the offering and development of relevant products
- Excellent communicator and experienced manager and leader
- Excellent knowledge of the corporate trust business and products
- Understanding of product development and implementation and relevant business development initiatives
- Well established corporate trust network
- Previous management experience, proven ability to grow and develop teams
- Commercial awareness
- Good understanding of corporate governance
- Ability to liaise with internal and external partners and stakeholders
- Deep understanding of wider regulatory framework
