Job Title Regulatory Business Advisory Manager

The Regulatory & Exam Management (R&EM) team manages the Bank's engagement with regulators and independent third parties and auditors appointed under the terms of regulatory enforcement actions (such as Deferred Prosecution Acts; Consent Orders, etc.) or statutory audits.

In this role, you will work in London in coordination with team members based in London and Frankfurt to centrally coordinate the engagement with the Bank's auditor, Ernst & Young (EY), in conducting the annual statutory audit of the Bank's adherence to Section 89 of the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz - WpHG). Additionally, you will be required to manage and support the Bank's engagement and delivery of obligations, including attestations, arising from regulators and other third parties under regulatory enforcement actions.

Your key responsibilities
  • Disseminating regulator and third-party requests for information to relevant internal stakeholders in a timely manner and manage them to closure
  • Facilitating understanding and clarity between the Bank and regulators/third parties regarding information requirements and subsequent reports, observations, and recommendations
  • Engaging with multiple stakeholders Bank-wide across all three lines of defence to drive, track and document closure and validation of required remediation
  • Designing and preparing regular Management Information reporting for various audiences including the Bank's Supervisory Board and Management Board
  • Maintaining good governance practices
  • Identifying, escalating, and addressing issues and dependencies arising from stakeholder engagement and various governance fora
Your skills and experience
  • Experience in working directly with a range of regulators, law enforcement agencies (e.g., DOJ); external auditors (e.g., KPMG, EY); and third-party monitors or skilled persons appointed under the terms of regulatory enforcement actions.
  • Experience in leading and supporting engagement with senior (Management Board-1 and Management Board-2) stakeholders across the three lines of defence: 1Lod, 2LoD, and 3LoD.
  • Experience in preparing reporting for Managing Board, Supervisory Board, and local legal entity board consumption.
  • Ability to engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders proactively and professionally
  • Project management skills and experience.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications.
