Role Summary:
The NTAM Operational Data Associate Consultant will be responsible for key data fields that are reported externally and to key internal stakeholders, such as Client Reporting, RFP, Marketing, AUM, and NTAM.NT. This includes creating, updating and organizing data in a consumable structure. This includes working with upstream and downstream partners to manage data exceptions and identify opportunities to implement data quality rules. Respond to ad-hoc information requests, analyze, gather and research information and develop reports in response to management and/or regulatory requests. Additionally, as we continue to our cloud-based infrastructure this role will look to build business insights and reporting that will add to our current deliverables.

Major Duties:
- Maintain a focus on holistic understanding of the data process, sources, and data quality needs.
- Create, drive and oversee data quality rules and remediation for areas of scope in partnership with Data Governance and Technology partners
- Act as a subject matter expert in key areas of NTAM Product and Operational Data structure, existing structure and future as business evolves
- Act as intermediary with technology and business to implement useful tools leading to process improvement and increased automation
- Engage with the Operations Team and stakeholders to provide access to intuitive data, reporting and analytics to enable secure, governed, and controlled access to data, in compliance for company policies.
- Proactively manage issues and risks to ensure that data governance is maintained, and delivery commitments are met, while ensuring excellence in execution.
- Participate in key NTAM and enterprise initiatives programs as directed by senior leadership.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement to reduce operational risk and drive operational excellence.
- Basic understanding of asset management, data management, and technology solutions
- Experience with data quality, extraction, transformation and visualization for business owners
- Usage of data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI tools extraction from Cloud-based data sources such as Azure, Snowflake, as well as on-premise sources such as SQL
- Knowledge of business functions and processes usually obtained through related work experience in the following areas: and project management. General knowledge and understanding of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the asset management and analytics technology field. Creative thinker with excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated passion and experience in leveraging data and analytics to drive change.
- A passion for problem solving with strong intellectual curiosity, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and connecting disparate pieces of data to drive decision making and execute reporting.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability to develop materials and effectively present to and persuade executive audiences using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Global outlook with sensitivity and awareness of social and cultural differences
- 5+ years relevant experience in the financial services, asset management, fund accounting, or asset servicing industries, experience with at least 3+ years in data science, analytics, or project management
- Experience with data management or data analytics with experience using data visualization tools, especially Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Experience with Eagle and/or Aladdin preferred but not required
- Sound knowledge of business and financial drivers of Asset Management business .
- Degree in Finance, Business, Math or related field.; MBA preferred but not required.
- Track record of developing and driving agenda of a new capability or product to drive data driven decisions and delivering tangible results.
