ICAP, part of TP ICAP group, provides a wide variety of execution and information services to wholesale market participants.
We offer broking services covering a wide range of asset classes, including Commodities, Credit, Equities, FX, Money Market Funds and Rates.
For each asset class, ICAP offers e-trading capability, giving clients the option to enter prices and execute trades directly via one of our hybrid electronic trading systems, or to engage with brokers who can identify and negotiate trades.
Role Overview:
ICAP is seeking an exceptional Electronic Trading Business Analyst with a proven track record and looking to enhance their career and make the step up to Senior Business Analyst level. This role is working in ICAP's fast growing, dynamic and agile electronic trading business; executing tasks and managing projects to analyse, design and implement solutions.

This role is working in ICAP's fast growing, dynamic and agile electronic trading business; executing tasks and managing projects to analyse, design and implement solutions.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders (quants, business owners, developers, support functions, vendors, and others) and end-users to understand and analyse business drivers, detailed requirements and stakeholder needs.
- Lead analysis and manage project/programs deliveries in enhancing, building, deploying, and supporting technology solutions required by the business.
- Write comprehensive business requirements, functional specifications, and release notes as well as other communication and presentation materials.
- Collaborate iteratively with product, vendors, support teams, the desk, and others to ensure proper translation of requirements into robust solutions.
- Prepare and apply configuration changes in cooperation with product support specialists and vendors.
- Drive projects and tasks within a fast-paced, agile, and sprint-based environment.
- Facilitate product reviews and user acceptance testing to ensure key business needs are sufficiently met.
- Review and prioritize software problems and advocate for these problems to be corrected in an efficient manner.
- Provide training and other support to business areas including traders, customer support teams and others.
- Coordinate Data Analysis projects for compliance and other internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate customer facing trade life cycle discussions,
- Maintain a technical understanding of how the product is built and therefore be able to identify compromises between end-user needs, technical limitations, and time-to-market goals. (skill to be learnt in the role)
- Manage reconciliation projects between client facing functions and internal stakeholders.
Essential
- Prior experience of being a Business Analyst within an electronic trading business.
- Solid understanding of technology and the product development lifecycle.
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptional thinking skills.
- Exceptional written, verbal and meeting facilitation skills.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of individual contribution to achieve overall delivery.
- Established ability to scope, plan, and estimate.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrates knowledge of FIX protocol and SQL.
- Bachelor level degree in appropriate field
- Maintain a technical understanding of how the product is built and therefore be able to identify compromises between end-user needs, technical limitations, and time-to-market goals.
- Experience with Execution Management Systems.
- Experience with Asana and Slack.
- Experience with Fixed Income and/or Futures.
