FTSE's Indices are used by 98 of the top 100 asset managers globally by AUM, with over $20 Trillion in total assets benchmarked against them. The Associate, Fixed Income Index Client Service's, primary role is to provide support for institutional clients who use FTSE Fixed Income Indices. Interacting with local market experts, strategically located around the globe, to provide outstanding service to this client base. Additional responsibilities may involve researching and tracking financial markets relating to our Index products and Passive Funds, including ETFs, and assisting developers in the course of product development and improvement.
Index calculations are performed by a variety of tools, which the Associate will use to analyse and interpret data results, such as bond eligibility, price-yield, duration, index inclusion criteria and methodology including bond and country classification. Along with this, the role will have limited exposure to additional client workflows and applications for deeper analysis.

Job Responsibilities
This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain a broad perspective on fixed income markets, including government, agency, corporate investment grade, high yield and emerging market securities. Key responsibilities include:
- Act as a first point of contact for clients, taking ownership for the resolution of index queries, engaging directly with clients to obtain a deeper understanding of their use cases and business needs
- Manage communications and notifications with clients regarding new products, service alerts, enhancements and disruptions, commercial packages and user permissions
- Handle the new client onboarding process in collaboration with the Sales teams, identifying client training needs and providing demos and client training sessions as needed
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal partners to ensure clients receive the best possible service
- Analyse all client queries and requests, researching and extracting specific data sets as needed
- Anticipate client needs and represents the voice of the customer internally
- Provide added support for internal projects such as training or product documentation
- Bachelor's degree preferably in a field such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics or similar, with high academic standing
- Previous experience in client service is a plus
- Knowledge of investments and fixed income securities
- Proficiency in Excel ®
- Curious attitude with strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a self-starter
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Positive energy and determination
