Oliver Wyman is looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our team in London

Please Note: Oliver Wyman/MMC operates a hybrid working policy and we will require the successful candidate to work from the London Baker Street office at least 60% of the time.

The Opportunity:

As an FP&A Senior Analyst for the Europe region, you will be involved in producing commercial financial analysis and commentary to support decision making by practice heads and the management committee.

You will be responsible for various tasks, including leading revenue forecasting, month-end analysis and reporting, troubleshooting revenue recognition issues, and conducting ad hoc analysis on European commercials and economics.

In addition, you will coordinate and enhance financial processes across Europe, such as investment appraisal and tracking, AR/WIP review, and monthly MIS reporting for several practices and platforms.

What we'd love to see from you:
  • You'll have at least 5 years of commercial financial analysis experience within a multinational organization.
  • We'd be particularly keen to see individuals who have experience of working in a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy practice who have been preparing commercial financial analysis for clients and are looking to transition into industry.
  • Strong financial analysis skills and proficiency in Excel are essential.
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Tableau is desired
  • Proficiency in additional languages such as French, German, or Italian will be highly advantageous
  • A finance qualification (e.g., CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CPA) is also desired

Additionally, you'll:
  • Be a structured, analytical thinker capable of operating at multiple levels of precision and detail.
  • Have strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills; able to work well in a team environment.
  • Possess effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Be a mature, organized, and creative self-starter with a professional attitude.
  • Show proactivity in addressing personal technical knowledge gaps.
