Our client is a market leading Currency and Foreign Exchange business, who are looking for an FP&A Manager to join their growing team. They are an FCA regulated, multinational business offering transfers to more than 150 countries, and pride themselves on their technology and innovation. This role will be reporting to a dynamic Director of FP&A. You will be responsible for analysing and forecasting the financial performance of the business. You will identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and produce Board reports. This is an exciting opportunity to shape business performance - producing ad-hoc insights, modelling and business partnering with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

This is a wide-reaching role, with the opportunity to shape business performance and contribute to financial strategy through the insights you provide. You will be responsible for:
  • Coordinating the forecasting and planning process across multiple business units, recommending solutions that align to overall financial strategy.
  • Tracking financial performance on a monthly basis and identifying trends including risks, underperformance and opportunities.
  • Forecasting business performance based on KPI's, historical performance and a sound understanding of day to day operations and the wider business model.
  • Preparing and presenting reports & KPIs Exec Packs to the broader leadership community.
  • Providing analytical support to key internal stakeholders on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Continually improving the process for rolling forecasting, operating plans and modelling tools. Evaluating scenarios and processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI to help drive key insights and analytics and execute continuous process improvement.
  • Developing financial models to support strategic initiatives and provide decision support for special projects and initiatives.
  • Lead business partnering across all functions to support analysis and decision making.

You will be:
  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) with previous experience within Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Minimum of 5 years' professional experience, with prior experience working in a regulated financial services business, ideally with a multinational/ multicurrency element
  • Experience producing valuable insights through Financial Planning, Forecasting and trend analysis.
  • Experienced Business Partnering with senior stakeholders, and presenting at a board level.
  • Experienced on financial software such as Cognos, Oracle, SAP or Hyperion, and data presentation tools e.g. Power BI
  • Financial Modelling skills are highly desirable but not essential.
