Revenue Accountant

Revenue Accountant - West London

I am currently partnered with a fintech company on the hunt for a detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to join a dynamic finance team. In this role you will be responsible for accurate and timely recognition of revenue with UK GAAP.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the complete revenue cycle, including contract review, revenue recognition analysis, and journal entries.
• Perform monthly/quarterly revenue close processes and reconciliations.
• Analyse revenue trends and provide insights to management.
• Assist with the preparation of revenue-related financial statements and disclosures.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting.
• Assist with the implementation of new revenue recognition systems and processes.

Qualifications/ skills required:

• Must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CPA/ CIMA)
• Proficient in NetSuite
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
