• Supports the Specialist / Consultant / Principal in Par, UL and Reinsurance Management, as well as product development and maintenance by preparing new product pricing and analysis and performing system checks.
• Performs studies to support the actuarial function. Review existing product performance and actual operational experience.

About the Role
• Supports the Specialist / Consultant / Principal in Par, UL and Reinsurance Management, as well as product development and maintenance by preparing new product pricing and analysis and performing system checks.
• Performs studies to support the actuarial function. Review existing product performance and actual operational experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Par, UL Management
- Prepares dividend analysis and provide support on participating initiatives. Prepare analysis on UL crediting rates / fees and charges review, assist to prepare management / regulatory reports.
- Prepares user requirement and performs testing for the dividend implementation / UL crediting rate and fees & charges implementation to ensure accuracy and timeliness of system delivery.
- Review customers'/ channels' communication related to participating and UL business.
- Prepares experience studies / reports. Meets agreed timelines and with accuracy. Provides observation and comments on the results.
- Support Actuarial team in preparing the reinsurance forms/ filings on new or existing reinsurance arrangement.
- Perform testing on reinsurance system implementation and prepare manual calculations for treaties not supported by the system.
- Assist to prepare reports for management monitoring for reinsurance.
- Prepare reinsurance statements and settlements with accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepares user requirement and performs testing for the actuarial related areas in the product implementation cycle to ensure accuracy and timeliness of system delivery
- Prepares new product pricing to meet the financial requirements of the company. Conducts profitability analysis of existing products
- Communicates with IT and prepare user requirement for various studies and system development
- Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements
- Assist manager in coordinating among teams on ad-hoc tasks.
- University / College graduate in Actuarial Science or relevant subject
- Proficient in MS Office and data analysis techniques, knowledge of actuarial software will be an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office and database skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- You are required to obtain relevant license if your job involves in regulated activities
