How will I help?
The Syndications team is responsible for the origination, structuring, pricing, documenting and distribution of arranged and underwritten loans for WIB customers. The team also supports the Project Finance and Leveraged & Acquisition Finance teams in the underwriting and distribution of their syndicated loans to those sectors.
This role will be a mix of Product Management and Syndications. You will be pivotal in the development, launch, and management of a new product the bank is launching as well as supporting the Directors within the Syndications team to originate, execute and distribute syndicated loans for WIB clients.
Reporting to Executive Director Syndications & Sustainable Finance, you will develop and manage this new product, working closely with internal stakeholders, and our external business partner. Upon establishment, you will manage an ongoing portfolio and work closely with CIB relationship management teams, analysts, credit, internal and external legal, agencies, borrowers, and other external financial institutions, to successfully provide and distribute loans into the market whilst delivering exceptional client service.

What do I need?
To be successful in this role as the Associate Director, you will have prior Institutional or Investment banking experience within a loan structuring team in the APAC region. You must have a strong understanding of corporate credit and syndications. This role requires strong internal stakeholder management experience, with a drive to deliver exceptional service for your clients.

- Develop a new product and ongoing monitoring of a portfolio of assets liaising internally and externally with stakeholders
- Prepare client presentations and marketing materials, Term Sheets, and Syndication Materials including debt information memorandums and invitation letters
- Collaborate with Legal Counsel and Deal team in negotiating terms of the clients' legal documentation
- Assist in the bookrunning process and queries from external lenders and Lead Arrangers
- Assist in identifying and managing of financial and non-financial risks
- Maintain internal databases, market update presentations, and management of league table submissions
