Job Description
Primary preparer for the Regulatory DTCC reconciliation, compilation of interest rate and energy marks and preparation of margin calls -- initial margin and variation margin. Monitor and preparation of key reports -- customer MTM statements, trade reconciliation in 3rd party system, perform counterparty exposure analysis. Provide primary control ensuring market data integrity is complete and accurate prior to EOD.

- 4 Yr/Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting; or equivalent business knowledge/experience
- 2 or more years capital markets financial analysis experience
- 1 or more years risk and collateral experience preferred

Position Responsibilities
Risk Monitoring and Control
- Perform or manage monitoring and remediation of credit risk exposure for customers and dealers to ensure adherence to assigned credit limits.
- Collateral management through the validation and issuance of margin calls daily.
- Review accurate trade capture, position management inventory continuity day over day.
- Monitor adherence to market risk policy limits, and escalation of exceptions to departmental senior management for remediation.
- Perform or manage daily market valuation accounting, and other financial and management reporting for foreign exchange, derivatives, and investment portfolio products of the Global Capital Markets, and Treasury Balance Sheet Management, businesses.
- Reconcile and review exceptions in trade matching process with various vendors platform.
- Review of market data.
Operations
- Daily calculation and review of collateral requirements across Interest, Energy and FX products.
- Investigate and reconcile differences and/or handle queries from collateral counterparties.
- Daily input and maintenance of customer, credit and market data in multiple SOX Tier 1 applications supporting the CRMP, and Treasury Balance Sheet Management departments.
- Compile data: produce and distribute reports within the tight daily timelines set.
- Oversight, tracking and general management of all client queries.
- Function as day-to-day lead for Collateral activities.
Project Management
- Represent middle office interests in small -- mid size CRMP projects and actively participate and communicate in the project lifecycle.
- Participate in Projects related to other business units which may impact processes and procedures in assigned unit.
- Provide insight for potential risks of expected changes.
- Ensure the policies and procedures reflect the new updates.
- Share project details and any investigation findings with the rest of the team.
Analysis
- Participate in develop analytics as required by regulations such as Dodd-Frank, the FRB Market Risk Rule, Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR).
- Run, analyze, distribute an escalate exceptions as needed.
