Job Description
How will I help?
You will bring a Legal/Corporate Finance or Investment Banking background to this Group Control Room team to advise around policy and organisational conflict. As a self starter who is hungry to learn in a fast-paced environment, you will join the Group Control Room team to support the continued uplift and maintenance of an effective compliance and framework and operating model for Organisational Conflicts activities. Reporting to the Practice Lead for Organisational Conflicts, as the Senior Manager you will work closely with various stakeholders to identify and manage conflicts of interest in a fast paced and changing environment. As a senior member of the Organisational Conflicts team, you will have key responsibility for helping the organisation to meet its regulatory obligations regarding substantial shareholding disclosure requirements, as well as day to day organisational conflicts matters.

You will have strong organisational and prioritisation skills with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data management is required. You will demonstrate an ability to work autonomously while being an effective team player.

- Responsibility for substantial shareholding monitoring activities including preparation and filing of regulatory notices to local and international exchanges.
- Drive understanding and adherence to Transactional Conflicts Management and Information Barrier requirements through delivering ongoing training and education to relevant stakeholders.
- Review research and provide and advice and guidance on research matters in accordance with Group policies and regulations (RG 79 and RG 264).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and create rapport with internal stakeholders acting as a trusted advisor on organisational conflicts.
- Assist with data collation and prepare analysis for management reporting as required.
- Maintain any tools and technological solutions used for recording organisational conflicts, information barrier requirements and substantial shareholding.
- Proactively assist in the management of conflicts risks for the Group.
- Support the broader GCR team to meet strategic goals and initiatives.
- Stay up to date with relevant regulatory changes and industry trends relating to conflicts management.
