Our client based in the CBD is seeking a skilled Senior Finance Administrator to handle finance, HR, and administrative tasks. This role involves managing invoices, payroll, bank transactions, and financial reports, as well as assisting with HR duties like preparing employee agreements and maintaining records.
Your new role
Your role will see you provide assistance to the Finance Manager, Directors and the Management team.
Key responsibilities will be:
  • Process and manage invoices, reimbursements, and payments.
  • Handle bank transactions and reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Assist with managing payroll and superannuation contributions.
  • Preparation and lodging of BAS
  • Assist in preparing and processing payment of Accounts Payable in mid-month and end of Month payment runs.
  • Manage collection of delinquent fees.
  • Investigate and clear any unidentified receipts.
  • Oversee preparation of weekly debtors reports for Directors.
  • Reconciliation of general ledgers including cleaning accounts (Salary sacrifice and Suspense Accounts).
  • Assist in preparing and issuing Quarterly Invoicing Audit Reports to Directors.
  • Prepare employee agreements and manage new employee onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records and assist with performance appraisals.
  • Manage HR-related registers and provide advice on employment laws.
  • Manage charitable donations, car parking, and IT assistance.
  • Maintain administrative documents and improve client experience.
  • Prepare and format documents using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • What you'll need to succeed
    To be successful in the role, you will have e xperience in a similar role along with:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance Services or Bookkeeping
  • Knowledge of accounting systems and processes.
  • Understanding of tax (fringe benefits, company and payroll)
  • Demonstrated experience in a Finance Role including assistance with the preparation and filing of BAS, processing payroll and accounting to Trial Balance.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Deltek Vantagepoint would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
