Financial Reporting Analyst

Zurich North America is hiring an Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team! We are open to hiring talent in our Schaumburg Headquarters.

Key accountabilities:

• Completion of parent statutory yellow book
• Review of monthly combined yellow book results
• Annual Insurance Expense Exhibit filings for the pool group of entities
• Annual Expense exhibit for the statutory entities
• Analysis of monthly BU results
• Analysis of agents balances monthly results
• Special projects as needed

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
  OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
  OR
• Completion of Zurich Finance Development Program, including a Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
  OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with 4 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
  AND
• Experience with accounting and financial reporting, general ledger and reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP experience
• Analysis for Office
• Stat Web software or Gain Compliance
• Blackline
• Business Objects
• Insurance industry experience
• Project management experience
• CPA, CPCU, CFA or CTP
• Strong Microsoft Office experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
