M&A department overview
The M&A department is responsible for developing the M&A strategy, sourcing leads from over 30 countries, and converting them into actionable deals. Our team reviews numerous potential targets and manages the entire process, from validating prospects against our M&A strategy to putting together strategic deals and executing the transaction, including deal structuring and pricing. The M&A team is instrumental in negotiating the terms of the deal, overseeing due diligence of the target to confirm our beliefs about the company and to identify any issues, and managing the signing phase, when each side must fulfill various conditions before the deal is completed.
What you will doKey Responsibilities
- Support in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities across various countries in Europe, LatAm, North America, etc.
- Assisting in execution of M&A deals in IT services area
- Management and training of analysts/interns and reporting upwards
- Creation and review of financial models, presentations, term sheets
- Liaison with acquisition targets and external advisors
- Take a more leading role in some parts of the deal, for example coordination of the due diligence
- Update long list and other databases
Skills & Requirements
- 5+ years M&A experience from private equity firms, investment banks and/or in-house M&A / corporate finance
- Participation in at least 3 closed M&A deals (IT services area is a plus)
- A good knowledge of M&A process from the term sheet drafting to review of transaction documents and deal closure
- Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- Fluent English
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Experience in reviewing models, valuations, presentations
- Sound judgment, particularly in valuation matters, with strong analytic skills; particularly DCF`s, SWOT analysis, peer comparison
- Strong interest in IT services sector
