We are looking for someone like that to support Audit Streams and Audit Stream Operations Manager (OM) through:

• Coordination of planning activities within Audit Stream - quarterly big room planning, risk assessment, audit plan changes and annual operational planning processes
• Monitoring of audit and issue assurance plan execution KPIs vs. agreed targets,
• Playing an instrumental role in scheduling by supporting Audit Team Leads (ATL) in their scheduling activities, ensuring completeness and quality of resourcing requests, facilitating communication with other audit teams,
• Supporting Audit Stream and OM in preparation of materials for stakeholder meetings,
• Following up on exceptions and alerts, data quality issues, ownership disputes. Resolving them by working together with ATLs, Auditable Entity owners, SMEs,
• Being a primary contact for OM for any ad-hoc request such as collating information within the Audit Stream, performing ad hoc analyses of audit universe, deep dives into specific KPIs and other.

Your team

You will be working in Group Internal Audit (GIA) Team in Poland. GIA is an independent function that supports UBS in achieving its strategic, operational, financial and compliance objectives. We do this by assessing key processes as well as governance, risk management, and the control environment within all Business Divisions and Group Functions globally. We are independent in our work and report directly to the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee.

As Operations Coordinator you will be working as a member of the GIA Global Operations Team, who owns the audit execution, risk assessment and operational planning processes. We drive process improvements, monitor process performance and coordinate the risk assessment and operational planning processes.

Your expertise

• Experience in an internal audit or business management function will be an asset
• Strong analytical skills - you are able to understand complex processes and challenge the status quo, identify risks and inadequacies as well as propose practical and sustainable solutions,
• Knowledge and experience of using MS Excel, capable of using data analytics to gain insights
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders
