What you'll be doing:
  • Review end-to-end processes and produce monthly Performance Reporting packs using tool such as Microsoft Power BI within stipulated deadlines.
  • Standardise current reports/ dashboards.
  • Support Management Reporting processes including analysis and crafting management information reports.
  • Present the findings to partners in a comprehensive and collaborative manner.
  • Adhere to internal controls as per group policies and the financial control framework.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of all dashboarding and business reporting requirements.
  • Responsible for standardizing processes, documenting and building resilience within the team.
  • Partner with other members of the General Accounting (GA) and Record to Report (R2R) in delivering of solutions.
  • Drive improvement and assess the quality of delivery against agreed SLAs and critical metrics.
  • Actively participate in testing and assurance relating to process/policy/system changes.
  • Build and maintain excellent standard operating procedures.

Crucial skills
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)/ Degree in a related field with a minimum of 2 - 5 years PQE. Applicants with part qualifications will be considered if they possess the relevant experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Packages including Power BI
  • Strong people and partner management track record.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Tenacious. Ability to identify, seek issues and follow through to conclusion.
  • Have a control approach, ability to identify gaps and work through solutions for improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in oral & written English.
  • Have a strong background in standardising processes and documentation.
  • Experience in Oracle / SAP / Oracle Fusion will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work according to UK work hours.
Desired skills
  • Background in a financial reporting or control environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, Macros, VB is desirable.
  • Financial process improvement.
  • Experience in preparation of SOPs and process manuals
  • Have a strong control approach
