Finance Mgr/ Asst Finance Mgr with an established SGX listed group in the real estate sector

• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in auditing and/or accounting role
• Prior experience in real estate industry is an added advantage but not a must
• Prior system implementation experiences advantageous

Our client is a SGX listed group in the real estate sector. Its global HQ is in Singapore and the office is based in town (the co also has a 1 day WFH arrangement). For this role, you will report to the VP finance and manage 2 Accountants / Senior Executives

Job Responsibilities

• Work with internal departments and overseas finance team on monthly financial closing and payment
• Review of annual statutory accounts and XBRL filing
• Review of accounting transactions and controls in accordance with the limit of authority
• Coordination of quarterly reforecast and full year forecast for portfolio of companies
• Prepare annual budget for portfolio of companies, and present it to the management
• Review monthly cashflow forecast
• Review quarterly GST submission
• Work with corporate tax department to ensure tax compliance timelines are adhered to and CITQ are addressed
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and external service provider
• Develop and coach a team of 2-3, and work effectively within the finance department and across different Business Units
• Work with team members to deliver enhancement to the accounting systems
• Evaluate finance automation options for the department and implement with the assistance of consultants
• Continuous improvement on work processes, internal controls and other business drivers
• Prepare minutes for monthly operation meeting and quarterly meeting

Requirements

• Bachelor of Accountancy or relevant accounting qualification, including ISCA, ACCA, CPA, etc.
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in auditing and/or accounting role
• Prior experience in real estate industry is an added advantage but not a must
• Prior system implementation experiences advantageous
• Proactive, independent with good attention to detail
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
