Our Anti-Money Laundering (AMLD), a member of our Singapore Administration Department, is responsible for identifying and implementing measures to mitigate anti-money laundering and terrorists financing risks across all the markets, products and countries in which the Bank transacts.

Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be exposed to the various pillars of AML. Broadly, the candidate will over time, be expected to demonstrate increasing understanding of AML/CFT procedures and processes, and assist the AMLD team to maintain procedures and policies in keeping with the requirements of the banking business.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
  • Organise and perform CDD reviews and clearing customer screening alerts in accordance with AML/CFT framework.
  • Assist in enhancement of CDD processes to optimize resources for efficient and timely completion of CDD.
  • Assist to conduct CDD-related training to stakeholders.

Transaction Monitoring (TM)
  • Apply AML/CFT knowledge to monitor customers' transactions.
  • Review of TM alerts for suspicious customer activities
  • Assist in investigations and preparing of suspicious transactions reports, as required.
  • Prepare response to requests by regulatory authorities.
  • Assist in turning of parameters for TM systems.

Sanctions Filtering (SF)
  • Ensure sound risk management related to sanctions.
  • Timely uploading of sanction lists into filtering systems.
  • Provides timely advice and approve transactions escalated hits.
  • Provide sanctions-related training to stakeholders.


Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
• A relevant bachelor's degree
• Preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Experience working in a bank would be an advantage.
• Sound knowledge in corporate banking products would be beneficial.
