Senior Global Payroll Specialist - Ebury Malaga Office

Work Pattern: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home

Role Overview:


The Senior Payroll Specialist will play a crucial role in optimizing our payroll operations across multiple countries. This position requires a deep understanding of automation and HR systems, exceptional documentation skills, a keen eye for internal process improvements, proficiency in conducting second-level reviews, and the ability to coordinate internal projects related to payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Automation and HR System Management: Spearhead the integration and optimization of payroll processing through automation and HR systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Stay abreast of the latest technology trends in payroll systems and recommend upgrades to enhance payroll processing.

Documentation:
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for payroll processes, policies, and compliance requirements across different countries.
Ensure that all payroll-related documents are up-to-date and in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Internal Process Improvement:
Regularly review and analyze current payroll procedures to identify areas for improvement.
Implement best practices in payroll processing to streamline operations and increase productivity within the team.

Second-Level Review:
Conduct detailed second-level reviews of payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Serve as the point of contact for resolving complex payroll issues and inquiries.

Coordination of Internal Projects and Payroll Operations:
Lead and coordinate payroll-related projects, including system implementations and enhancements.
Manage payroll operations for multiple countries, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing according to local laws and regulations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
6+ years of experience in payroll processing, including international payroll.
Strong knowledge of payroll software and HR systems, preferably with experience in automation tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations related to payroll.
