- A Reputable bank is hiring for a Head of Management Reporting
Your new role
- Lead a medium sized team of Management Reporting specialists.
- Collaborate with business units to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Summarize the bank's performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose strategic directions on a semi-annual basis for discussion in senior management meetings.
- Provide recommendations for enhancing the bank's performance.
- Monitor financial performance against targets and provide insights to senior management.
- Coordinate with Head Office to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), establish calculation formulas, and gather last year's completion data at the start of each year.
- Calculate the assessment score based on last month's performance on a monthly basis.
- Provide feedback on the assessment policy during semi-annual reviews.
- Address inquiries from Head Office, management, divisions, and internal/external auditors regarding management accounting issues.
- Develop, maintain, and implement policies and procedures related to management accounting.
What you'll need to succeed
- At least 10 years of accounting experience in banking and/or auditing fields.
- A university degree in accounting or related disciplines.
- Professional qualification in accounting/finance.
- Strong knowledge of banking industry and financial management principles and techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think creatively.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with management information systems.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
