Our client is a rapidly growing, ambitious Payments Company, who are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team. They are a subsidiary of a multinational, market leading online Leisure business, and this role will be the number one in Finance in the UK. They pride themselves on the quality of their service, combined with the analytics and innovation to drive new products. Reporting into a European CFO, you will help build and improve processes, partner with key stakeholders across the business and act as the designated PSD individual to the FCA. It would suit an applicant from a Payments, FX or FinTech background. This is a mostly remote role, with 1 day per month in the London or Oxford office required.

Responsibilities:
This is a wide-reaching role, with responsibility for supporting all parts of the Payment Institution business and will be expected to manage internal and external stakeholders. You will be involved in:
- Overseeing the company's financial performance across the UK operation, including monthly reconciliation of management and statutory reporting packs.
- Reporting of accurate financial ledgers in accordance with both local and US GAAP principles.
- Preparation and presentation of Board packs.
- Acting as a designated PSD individual with the FCA.Maintaining oversight and performing a detailed review of safeguarding processes with responsibility for completion of daily reconciliation.
- Ensuring full compliance with regulatory capital and safeguarding obligations.
- Timely preparation and submission of regular returns to the FCA as required.
You will be:
- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) with previous financial control and management reporting experience.
- Minimum of 8 years' professional experience, with prior experience working in a regulated financial services payments, FX, e-money or FinTech business
- Ideally, you will have acted as the designated PSD individual for a business
- Sound knowledge of Payments' regulations (PSD2)
- Commercially led, outstanding eye for detail and good creative problem-solving skills.
- Able to form strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders
