We're looking for Junior Portfolio Engineer to:
• perform the day-to-day management of different types of institutional and UHNW multi asset portfolios (managed accounts) implemented via traditional and non-traditional funds and ETFs
• rebalance portfolios on a periodical basis according to individual rules
• implement strategy changes instructed by portfolio management under consideration of the individual investment management agreements
• trade foreign currencies
• be the point of entry for client relationship managers and portfolio managers for implementation related matters
• support the improvement of our processes and proprietary portfolio management systems
Your team
You'll be working in the Portfolio Engineering and Trading team for Swiss Mandates in Zürich. Our team is responsible for the day-to-day management of multi asset portfolios implemented via traditional and non-traditional funds, for institutional and UHNW clients. As a portfolio engineer, you'll play an important role in the real-time implementation and management of investment portfolios.
Your expertise
• relevant experience in portfolio implementation or a in a related role in portfolio management or trading
• degree in a capital market or related education/studies
• previous exposure to subscribing and redeeming traditional and non-traditional funds (incl. ETFs) and FX trading
• organized, structured and diligent, with the ability to work very efficiently and under pressure while maintaining the highest degree of accuracy
• high affinity to numbers and calculations
• flexible, pro-active and solution-oriented with strong communication skills
• team player with the highest standards in collaborative behavior - always ready to support others
• proficient computer skills, including MS Office and in particular Excel, Python is a plus
• fluent in German is a must and English to support a local client base, French language is a plus
