Position Summary

Investor Relations cultivates relationships with the investment community which includes institutional equity and fixed income investors, sell-side analysts, credit rating agencies, and relevant external stakeholders. The role holder will provide senior management with intelligence on investors' intention, market sentiment and view on BEA.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate two-way communications between investment community and the Group.
  • Provide senior management with intelligence on investors' intention, market sentiment and view on BEA, structure meaningful external engagement.
  • Enable coverage analysts' understanding of BEA's business models and earnings drivers.
  • Generate contents and materials related to communications with the professional investment community.
  • Organize roadshows, briefings, result conference calls and other investor-related events.
  • Conduct thematic research and analyses independently and in collaboration with various business units.
  • Cultivate relationships with the investment community which includes institutional equity and fixed income investors, sell-side analysts, credit rating agencies, and relevant external stakeholders.
  • Provide senior management with intelligence on investors' intention, market sentiment and view on BEA.


Requirements
  • University graduate/ Bachelor degree holder
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of work experiences in corporate investor relations; strong working knowledge and experience in buy-side or sell-side equity, or corporate research is highly preferred. Knowledge of banking industry would be advantageous.
  • Self-starter who can work both independently and within a team, deal with people across seniority levels, both within and outside of the Group
  • Ability to handle time-sensitive matters as well as ambiguous and complex situations
  • High integrity with keen awareness of prevailing compliance standard
  • Knowledge of capital markets, valuation methodologies, and investment processes
  • Excellent analytical skills, communications skills and presentation skills
  • Strong command of both spoken and written English and Chinese; spoken Mandarin is advantageous
