6-12 Months | Financial Analyst | Open to Mature Candidates!

• Providing finance support in accounting, cash management, tax and group reporting
• Min 1-2 years of full set accounting experience within financial industry
• 6 Months - 12 Months Contract
• Basic Salary up to $ 4000 (may stretch for good candidates)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, data compilation and financial analysis to ensure data completeness and accuracy in all P&L and Balance Sheet
• Ensure high level of accuracy in both Syndicate and Service Company ledgers and provide support to all work papers
• Oversee expense management and good oversight of accrual, prepayment, recharge, intercompany balance and GST prepared by fellow team members.
• Responsible for the production and delivery of financial regulatory and related compliance returns & financial statements to MAS and other regulators.
• Working closely with Regional Group Tax teams to review all quarterly GST and annual corporate tax return and ensure all settlements and allocations of tax payable accounts are completed on time.
• Monitor and maintain bank balances to monitor cashflow liquidity risks.
• Prepare weekly cash flow update and quarterly cash forecast for management reporting.
• Liaise with accounts payable team to ensure all payments are processed accurately and act as liaison between internal and external parties on all expense and invoice enquiries.
• Provide assistance on ad hoc reports requested by Management team

Job Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Accountancy & Finance or any recognized accounting qualifications
• Min 2 years of experience in accounting/ finance function within financial industry
• Experienced in Financial Industry is essential
• Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills in stakeholders management
