Your New Role
The Analyst Governance & Accountability reports to the Senior Manager, Governance & Accountability within the Governance & Accountability team which is part of the Group Governance department in the Fund's Group Risk domain. he team coordinates and/or oversees AustralianSuper's Executive Governance, Delegation of Authority, Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) management office and whistleblowing management activity, educating and engaging with stakeholders across the Fund.
In this role you will support the team to deliver the Trustee's implementation of FAR together with associated governance activity. The role will work closely with colleagues across the fund to ensure the smooth running of its executive governance and delegation processes and associated activities.

Your New Role

In this role you will support the team to deliver the Trustee's implementation of FAR together with associated governance activity. The role will work closely with colleagues across the fund to ensure the smooth running of its executive governance and delegation processes and associated activities.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Support the team to design and deliver the Trustee's implementation of FAR, including the analysis of regulatory guidance, drafting of policies, standards and guidelines and implementation of its reasonable steps framework.
- Provision of day-to-day advice to colleagues across the Trustee on FAR procedures queries.
- Preparation and drafting of regulatory notifications required under FAR.
- Assist the on-going maintenance of the Trustee's executive forum structure, including co-ordinating the annual review of its committee charters and associated updates.
- Managing the Trustee's forum governance and FAR email inboxes.
- Provision of day-to-day advice to colleagues across the Trustee on forum governance procedures queries.
- Preparation drafting and preparation of regulatory notifications required to ASIC (Responsible Managers) and APRA (Responsible Persons) under their Fitness and Propriety regimes, including liaising with senior stakeholders and their teams to source documents required by regulators.
- In co-ordination with the Regulatory Affairs team, submission of notifications to ASIC and APRA in respect of the above.
- Support the Senior Manager to design and deliver appropriate training (face to face and e-learning) on all matters within the team's remit.
What You'll Need
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Commerce, Law or Industry related field.
- Knowledge of the superannuation industry and relevant obligations.
- Some understanding of governance, risk and compliance management practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail including excellent analytical and investigative skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage and influence with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills that reflects a professional, collegiate and engaging approach.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage the range of tasks required of this role.
