Team Head - Enterprise Risk Management

Our client is a Global International Group that includes Hotel Business, Real Estate, and Investment Properties. It is seeking a Team lead under the Internal Audit Department. The individual will be able to provide a systematic approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of Risk Management, Governance and Controls.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall management and execution of the risk management strategy and activities. Establish, implement, manage all aspects of the risk function, including implementing processes and systems to identify, assess, measure, manage, monitor, and report risk, with the objective of a robust risk management culture.
• Discuss with business owners to implement enterprise risk management and align the risk tolerance, appetite to the Group's corporate governance.
• Provide constructive challenge and oversight to the identification, measurement, monitoring, controlling, and reporting of enterprise-wide risks faced by the Group.
• Maintain and improve internal control environment through active engagement with 2nd of Line of Defence to educate and facilitate implementation of appropriate key controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business/ Risk Management
• At least 10 years of experience in a global institution for Enterprise Risk Management or with a professional services firm.
• At least 3 years of experience in a management role in leading and coaching a team
• Lodging/ hospitality industry experience would be a plus.
• Professional qualifications and certification in Enterprise Risk Management are a plus. Experience in the Integrated Assurance Framework (IAF) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is also a plus.
