The Business Development Manager has the responsibility for identifying and driving the Central Bank & Trading market development initiatives in APAC (existing customers and new prospects). You will be responsible for signing and launching market wide initiatives that generate Gross Sales and market wide retention.

Working closely with Product Management team to support product requirements definition, planning through production and release, to maximize adoption.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead a sales strategy, pipeline regarding for Central Bank and Financial communities
  • Drive thought leadership agenda as an internal and external spokesperson for your proposition, supporting community building and financial markets development/transformation
  • Build positive relationships with senior team members at Central Banks, MoF and Market Associations (i.e ACI) that lead to sales and robust pipeline
  • Provide product feedback and improvements required to penetrate new markets or accounts
  • Work with EFM Product Management team to validate products requirements and development
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote product launches and go-to market strategies.
Qualification and Experience Required:
  • Minimum of ten years' relevant work experience in the financial markets, strong understanding of the Trading end to end workflow, systems, and processes
  • World class selling skills (identify, develop, & articulate proposition/ consultative selling). Ability to organize and complete a sales plan
  • Proven track record in a quota bearing sales environment
  • Proficient in the use of financial information desktops (BBG, Eikon,)
  • Moderate experience in product development and management
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Qualifications in finance or economics
  • Fluent in English
