Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

- Executes the audit plan successfully to quality and within budget.
- Directs a team of auditors in the field and uses active coaching and supervision to ensure quality as well as adhering to Internal Audit's methodology.
- Leads audit delivery teams to deliver internal audit engagements (i.e. complex projects).
- Solves complex audit assurance problems escalating difficult instances where appropriate.
- Provides SME insight to others across the function in own specialism.
- Delivers core components of audit engagements.
- Completes professional qualifications including passing examinations in line with agreed timescales.

- Should have a good understanding in either of the below areas:

> exposure to performing audit reviews in KYC/ CLD (Customer Lifecycle Development) processes, Sanctions and Embargo, Trade reconciliations processes. Trade confirmation and settlement activities to name a few.
> Should have relevant experience in an Internal Audit function (performing risk based auditing).
> Knowledge on Tresuary Management, Trading Data Management is an added advantage.

> Having a good understanding of complete trade lifecycle (Front Office/Middle Office/Back Office) activities.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Recognised Internal Auditing (IIA / CIIA) or Accounting Qualification. May be Part Qualified

- A FRM certified or any other financial certification (incl. CA) will be an added advantage
