Position Goals
  • To support the firm in providing investor accounting, financial and management information throughout the Asia Pacific Region
  • To provide support in finance & accounting matters and towards the growth of the firm's business

Reporting
  • Based in Singapore, the position reports to the Finance Manager or the equivalent

Responsibilities

Accounting & reporting
  • Maintain/oversee the maintenance of accounting records for investment holding entities on a monthly basis as assigned
  • Prepare/oversee the preparation of payments, wire transfers processing (including settlement of FX transactions) & daily cash flow management of the investment holding entities as assigned
  • Assist in the annual external audit
  • Assist with tax, corporate secretarial compliance and entity maintenance/compliance & reporting

Fund administration & operations
  • Assist with fund/investor administration matters
  • Assist with day-to-day fund operational matters
  • Support new digitalization initiatives for banking related processes (eg Kyriba)
  • Support implementation of new Accounts Payable system to facilitate workflow and approvals

Deal related
  • Assist with review and analysis of financial results reported by property holding subsidiaries or service providers, including proper conversion from local GAAPs to IFRS
  • Review and report monthly cash positions.
  • Assist in the annual external audit
  • Assist in tax, corporate secretarial compliance
  • Assist in loan administration

Client reporting
  • Support finance team in investors reporting & requests on financial & accounting information

Admin matters
  • Perform admin duties such as scanning, printing, photocopying, arranging signing of documents, couriers, bank errands, filing, archiving, casting, proof-reading, data compilation, data entry and other similar duties assigned from time to time

Experience, Qualifications and Competencies Required
  • Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 - 6 years of relevant working experience
  • Audit experience and experience in real estate industry a preference, but not a must
  • Proficiency in written and spoken business Chinese a preference
  • Client focused, confident and have integrity
  • Organized and meticulous and yet inquisitive and competent in posture
  • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds in the Asia Pacific region including liaising with JV partners, asset managers, outsource agents, bankers, auditors and consultants


This role will be contracted under a Third-Party Vendor and work onsite at LaSalle Singapore office
