Business Function

DBS Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions - whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.

The bank is also a certified Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for the Singapore Qualification Programme by the Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Business in developing a deep understanding of key performance drivers of the business and provide inputs on business financials/trends/related issues.
• Actively track and report key business performance indicators, e.g., revenue, expenses, profitability, RM productivity, Net New Money, AUM, etc.
• Strong in handling large data analysis, and perform deep analysis on the business performance using available data.
• Drive automation of current reporting processes.
• Perform UAT for system enhancements.
• Good understanding of accounting policies.
• Establish strong internal controls over the business financials and processes to comply with accounting and internal policies.

Requirements

• Strong data analytical skills, hands-on with an eye for details and delivery focused.
• Highly driven and initiative taker.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Degree in Accountancy or a Finance related discipline.
• Prior experience in management accounting or business controlling functions would be an advantage.
• Broad-based understanding of wealth management business would be an advantage.
