Job Description
How will I help?
This is a newly created position, established due to growth in Home Lending within the Small Business customer base. Our Business Finance Managers work with our Banking channels and get out and about every day to build and acquire and maintain standout relationships with Small Business customers. With focus on Home Lending and Business Lending, you'll help our customers across many markets. You'll work flexibly to deliver the best possible experience for our customers. You will be embedded locally working out of one of our branches, and you'll find other ways to build that customer base - including effective external and internal referral networks.
What's in it for me?
Being a newly created team, you will have opportunities to shape best practices for your team and have full responsibility for your own daily operating rhythm.
You'll play a significant part of the future of a business that has been around for 200 years. Our vision is to become one of the world's great service companies. So we'll back you in the development of your career, internal career prospects, and flexible working. You'll also keep learning to grow, backed a fantastic team of people within a can-do, supportive structure.
What do I need?
A real knack for finding new business - and experience generating that business in the financial sector and local market. Along with Small Business and home lending experience, you'll be a people person who loves meeting new faces and building networks, with a track record for delivering results that go above and beyond customer expectations. Your strong business acumen, and ability to present detail and solid organisational skills are a must as well - especially as you'll be solely responsible for looking after your workload while you're on the go.
What's it like to work there?
We aim to provide one big, supportive team to help us achieve our purpose of creating better futures together. Working with us you'll discover new ways of working, and an exciting range of roles to showcase your skills. As an equal opportunity employer, we're proud to have created a culture where people can be their best, in an environment that values diversity and flexibility. And one where everyone belongs.
