Learning and Development Training Specialist

The Role

As a Generative AI Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Cognizant's Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives. Your expertise will drive the development of our organisations learning capability and assist in the upskilling of developers capable of delivering quality software using Generative AI concepts and tools. You'll have the opportunity to influence the direction of our L&D programs and instill a culture of continuous learning. In this role, you can expect to:

• Design and deliver comprehensive training programs
• Develop hands-on exercises and projects to enhance practical learning.
• Conduct engaging in-person and virtual training sessions for employees, clients, and partners.
• Utilize various instructional techniques (simulations, discussions, videos) to enhance learning experiences.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and gather relevant data.
• Curate learning materials and develop assessment questions.
• Facilitate classroom and virtual training.
• Participate in curriculum development and review processes.

To apply for this Learning and Development Training Specialist role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• Proven experience as a trainer or educator and understanding/willingness to learn Python or Java programming and AI technologies
• Experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to create an engaging learning environment and motivate participants.
• Familiarity with Google Collab and Microsoft VS code IDEs is advantageous
• Familiarity or knowledge with gen AI implementations is desirable on Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud LLMs and experience in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with Open AI, AWS Bedrock or Google Gemini with a demonstrated ability to train LLMs
