About the Role
As a Transaction Management, Senior Officer in our Institutional Operations team you will be responsible to perform verification of payment and cash related transactions, manage hub performance, support procedure/system change activities, proactively address potential risk and implement correspondent controls under payment and cash area. Support line manager in different payment and cash related projects regulatory reporting and third party vendor management.

What will your day look like?
As a Transaction Management , Senior Officer you will be accountable to
- Achieve cost control by increasing productivity and minimized processing error.
- Closely monitor the quality of work provided by our service provider/operator and ensure they can deliver customer satisfactory services by meeting all service level agreement with customer and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate understanding and commitment on customer centricity.
- Position will involve in monitoring of payment and cash related activities. Build up new or assist in change of product process as per the business needs with proper risk control in place. Timely escalation of exceptional issues is required. Provide training/guidance to team members on the process and control.
- Collaborate with different teams for regulatory reporting.
- Manage and coordinate with third party vendor for delivery of services.
- Need to have team spirit and lead the team to achieve the overall performance target.
- Be able to identify and control unexpected risk exposure by fostering awareness and understanding of operational risk throughout the operation process.
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Knowledge of Accounting, Bills of Exchange, SWIFT payment, Operational risk, reconciliation
- Strong working experience in banking industry.
- Knowledge of HKICL procedure and HKMA policies.
- Prior working experience in checker/monitor role.
