Findex are currently seeking an experienced Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team in Sydney. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, with the opportunity to continue to develop and grow your career with one of Australia's leading accounting and advisory firms.
As part of our Corporate Finance team, you will work on a variety of interesting engagements across M&A advisory, equity capital raising and debt advisory with experienced leaders providing you with the opportunity to develop and enhance your skills. This is fantastic opportunity with exposure to a fast-growing environment working alongside innovative and entrepreneurial clients in a broad range of industries and sectors.

Our high-performing Corporate Finance team provides clients with Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital raising, Valuations, Modelling, Due diligence and Strategic advisory services. The key to our M&A offering is to offer an integrated approach and understanding our client's strategy and requirements to maximise transaction value. Our experienced specialists support clients (of all sizes and across a range of industries) from the initial formulation of their M&A strategy and refinement of objectives, through to transaction execution, post close integration and optimisation. What will your typical week look like?
- Review and analyse financial performance of companies and projects
- Conduct research and analysis on market and industry conditions. Design and construct Excel financial models to assist with financial analysis, business forecast and valuations
- Develop PowerPoint based proposals and information memorandums with guidance from senior team members
- Manage data rooms and deal transaction processes with support from senior team members

Let's talk about you!
You are someone with.....
- A degree in either Commerce, Finance, Law, or Economics
- A clear understanding of Corporate Finance concepts including financial statement interpretation, capital structures and macro-economic drivers.
- Ability to create and work with three-way financial models
- Prior experience in M&A, Corporate Valuations, Transaction Services, Investment Analysis or Audit are highly desirable
