An exciting fixed-term contract opportunity has arisen for a Projects and Support Manager to work part time for twelve-month period. Computershare is a global financial administration company, employing over 12,000 people around the world. We provide services in over 20 countries to more than 16,000 clients and 75 million customers. Computershare is built on our share registry business and has expanded into employee equity plans, stakeholder communications, corporate governance, fund services, class action administration, deposit protection and most recently mortgage servicing.

Issuer Services is the division within Computershare responsible for providing administrative services to Issuer Services clients and their individual security holders.

A role you will love

The Projects and Support Manager plays a pivotal role in the administrative management of various projects and initiatives, supporting the General Manager in the continued growth and success of the WA business.

This dynamic and engaging position involves hands-on collaboration with the team and encompasses two equally crucial aspects:

1)Protect and advance Computershare's commercial interests by delivering exceptional quality outcomes and optimizing resource utilization in compliance with all relevant policies and procedures

2) Contributing to activities aimed at attracting and retaining talented individuals for the WA business, thus making a positive impact on business performance in terms of finance, sales, client retention, and client satisfaction

Success in the role is achieved through high levels of organisation, pro-activity, attention to detail, working closely with others and managing several tasks simultaneously in a highly regulated environment.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Actively engage with stakeholders and oversee delivery of client and internal requirements.
  • Support revenue retention and growth through a structured and methodical approach to contract management and administration
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to oversee the delivery of client requirements, address issues promptly, and provide regular updates on project development
  • Maintain and update internal communication tools to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
  • Proactively identify and embrace opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell our products and services
  • Investigate, escalate and report on errors and problems that arise and take remedial action to prevent recurrence
  • Making a strong positive contribution to our business by delivering outstanding outcomes for our clients
  • Exercising a considerable level of commercial acumen and service delivery skill across a facets of the role
  • Delivering strong results across a spectrum of KPIs
  • Identify opportunities for business improvement and contribute to their implementation
  • Maintaining regulatory, legislative and market knowledge . Participation in regular compliance activities (product, process, contract, and audit-related) to reduce risk
  • Pursue self-development, participate in 1-on-1 coaching, departmental training, and internal Learning & Development courses to enhance skills and contribute to corporate actions and project management

What will you bring to the role?
  • Significant relevant experience in service delivery and team leadership and management
  • A strong client focus and the ability to deliver outcomes that exceed client expectations
  • A track record in achieving goals and key metrics
  • Experience in sales focused teams
  • Intermediate to advanced level of computer literacy (predominantly Microsoft Office and experience with proprietary systems)
  • Strong negotiation skills and well developed commercial acumen
  • Disciplined use of information management systems
  • Efficient resource utilisation
  • Excellent oral and written communications
  • A friendly and easy going style where teamwork is in abundance
  • Understanding of the Investor Services or Financial Services market and competition will be highly advantageous
