Your new role
The team are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant, whose main mission will be to take charge of financial reporting for Australia and France. The successful candidate will play a key role in consolidating accounts, monitoring financial performance, and communicating financial results occasioanly to the French headquarters.
Main Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial reports: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the headquarters in France.
• Accounting consolidation: Manage the consolidation of financial statements from different entities in the APAC region, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of consolidated data.
• Intercompany analyses and reconciliations: Conduct in-depth financial analyses and intercompany reconciliations to ensure the integrity of transactions and intercompany balances.
• Management reporting: Develop detailed management reports, including variance analysis and performance commentary, to assist in strategic decision-making at the French headquarters.
• Audit support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary information and facilitate financial audits.
• Internal controls: Participate in the implementation and continuous improvement of internal control procedures and financial policies, in line with group guidelines and regulatory requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a relevant accounting role, with a strong background in financial reporting and consolidation.
• Education: Hold a higher degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A professional qualification such as CPA or CA is highly desirable.
• Technical skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems. In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and consolidation principles.
• Personal qualities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to work schedules based on coordination needs with the team in France. (occasionally)
