Accountant - Western Suburbs - Immediate Start

This role requires a mature individual with extensive supervisory experience in high-volume sectors such as trading, manufacturing, marine, or construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Set of Accounts: Oversee the classification and management of Accounts Receivables and Payables, Inventories, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, etc.
• SAP and IT Systems: Provide assistance with SAP and other IT accounting system issues.
• Policy and Procedure Improvement: Actively participate in formulating, reviewing, and improving current financial policies, procedures, internal controls, systems, and updating SOPs.
• Team Supervision: Supervise a team of Accounts Executives to ensure efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Background: Degree in Accountancy or ACCA.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Sector Experience: Experience in trading, manufacturing, marine, and/or construction sectors is highly desirable.
• Professional Qualification: CA/CPA preferred.
• Technical Skills: Experience with SAP B1 and multi-company reporting will be an added advantage.
• Location: Preferably residing in the West.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
