Our client is a prestigious consumer goods company

Develop, communicate, and maintain policies and procedures that ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, industry standards, and company-specific requirements.
Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of potential non-compliance or operational deficiencies and provide recommendations to management for remediation.
Work collaboratively with all business units to ensure the proper implementation of internal control policies and procedures.
Monitor compliance with established policies and procedures and perform internal audits to ensure controls are effective.
Manage the coordination of internal and external auditors, providing support as needed and ensuring follow-up on any identified deficiencies.
Respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies or internal stakeholders regarding the company's internal control procedures.
Educate and train employees and management on internal control policies and procedures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and industry standards related to internal controls and suggest modifications to policies and procedures as needed.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
10+ years of experience in internal controls, compliance, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards related to internal controls.
Experience with risk assessment and internal audit techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage complex projects effectively and deliver results on time.
CPA or CIA certification preferred.
