Our client is a prestigious consumer goods company
  • Develop, communicate, and maintain policies and procedures that ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, industry standards, and company-specific requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of potential non-compliance or operational deficiencies and provide recommendations to management for remediation.
  • Work collaboratively with all business units to ensure the proper implementation of internal control policies and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with established policies and procedures and perform internal audits to ensure controls are effective.
  • Manage the coordination of internal and external auditors, providing support as needed and ensuring follow-up on any identified deficiencies.
  • Respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies or internal stakeholders regarding the company's internal control procedures.
  • Educate and train employees and management on internal control policies and procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and industry standards related to internal controls and suggest modifications to policies and procedures as needed.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in internal controls, compliance, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards related to internal controls.
  • Experience with risk assessment and internal audit techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage complex projects effectively and deliver results on time.
  • CPA or CIA certification preferred.
