About the team
The Internal Audit Department (Asia-Pacific Office) acts as an independent, objective assurance and consulting function, designed to add value and improve the bank's management and controls. It helps the bank to accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the risk management and governance processes.

The Internal Audit Department (Asia-Pacific Office) acts as an independent, objective assurance and consulting function, designed to add value and improve the bank's management and controls. Role requirements
- Perform regular and ad-hoc internal audit assignment;
- Conduct risk assessment and monitoring activity;
- Carry out and follow up of audit recommendations;
- Support supervisor to manage departmental activities.
Essential Functions
- Provide valuable recommendation for improving internal control;
- Prepare audit report or review report in accordance with the bank's standards;
- Gather useful information for continuous monitoring.
Competencies
- We are looking for an individual who proactively acquires necessary knowledge through day-to-day work through training;
- Has mind-set to initiate changes and improvements for higher productivity/performance;
- Builds good working relationship with other auditors and stakeholders and effectively collaborates with them to achieve team goals.
Work experience, education and skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance/ Business;
- CPA qualification is recommended; candidates with CIA / CISA / CAMS qualifications would be an advantage;
- Minimum 3 years' experience in internal audit department in financial institutions or sizeable companies as an internal auditor or external professional firm; experience in banking industry or IT related audit would be an advantage;
- Good command of spoken and written English, Mandarin & Cantonese; Knowledge in Japanese would be a plus;
- Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills as well as a good team player;
- Good PC Skills in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint;
