Job Purpose
This role contributes to Group Insurance business role through acquisition of new business through the various distribution channel.
The Job • Prospecting and marketing Group Insurance solution and services to distribution channel partners
• Develop distribution channel value proposition and engagement activities to increase sales opportunities.
• Ability to work as a field business underwriter on risk assessment and management
• Establish and maintain strong business relationship with channel partners
• Ensure services level commitments to channel partners and clients are meet. KPIs for service level are incorporate in performance review.
• Require to contribute to product development and services review to ensure GE offerings remains competitive
• Require to coordinate and work with internal stakeholders on placement of new policies, claims management and credit control governance.
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Our Requirement • Tertiary degree or diploma or equivalent industry qualifications;
• Minimum 5 years working experience in sales and marketing in the Employee Benefits /Group Insurance field;
• Possess M9, M5 & Health Insurance qualification;
• Strong knowledge of Life and Health insurance landscape
• Dynamic and driven to achieve business targets; and
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrates alignment with the organisation's core values through expected behaviours
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and team player.
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
