Job Purpose
Y our primary role is to lead and manage projects. You will discuss with business stakeholders to understand their requirements. As your projects usually involve system enhancements, you will also need to work closely with IT and software vendors. You will assess IT proposals and recommend the solution which will best meet business needs and objective. On a day-to-day basis, you will also support the Head, Business Solutions to ensure that the systems are running smoothly.
The Job
• Plan and manage system related projects, ensuring all tasks and outputs are completed
• Keep budget on track and deliver with quality.
• Highlight any potential concerns/ risks and proactively share best risk management practices
• Arrange and conduct project meetings, prepare minutes with action plans and delivery dates
• Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.
• Drive the User Acceptance Testing for various projects and interact with business stakeholders to complete the testing on time.
• Ensure products and services delivered by IT and vendors meet specifications
• Assist in operational support and any ad hoc task as may be assigned
Our Requirements
• Degree/ Diploma in Computer related studies or Information Technology
• 2 to 5 years of working experiences in managing application development
• Knowledge on insurance is mandatory
• Project Management skill/experience
• Willingness to learn general isnruance systems such as the policy admin system, VPMS product engines, jPBM Workflow, japer template and automatic testing tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a problem solver
• Able to deliver tasks on time with high quality results
• High level of integrity, take accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
• Take initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
