Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Audit audit-responsible individual (RI) to join our clients growing team. This role is ideal for individuals operating at Director level or senior managers with RI status. As an Audit RI, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and quality of the audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.
  • Conduct inspections and reviews of audit documentation to assess adherence to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Provide guidance and support to audit teams, facilitating continuous improvement in audit quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other partners and senior management to develop and implement strategies for enhancing audit practices and procedures.
  • Stay updated on regulatory developments and industry trends, proactively addressing any emerging issues or challenges.
  • Foster a culture of compliance and accountability within the organisation, promoting ethical behaviour and integrity in all audit activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with RI status.
  • Extensive experience in audit, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and professional standards.
  • Proven track record of managing audit engagements and ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical principles and professional integrity.
