Senior Investment Associate, FP&A department

DTEK, the largest energy company in Ukraine, is looking for qualified candidates to fill position of Senior Investment Associate at FP&A department. Position includes the activities involved with a Business controlling and Investment.

• Following operational activities of businesses, review of management reporting, control of budgeting process of Operational Companies (Oil & Gas and Renewables)
• Analyzing information from Operational Companies and developing measures to improve the collection, processing, and consolidated presentation of information
• Consulting Operational Companies on Investment process, including methodology and best practice sharing
• Review of materials and preparation of comments/recommendations for the Management on the most material and strategic projects in Ukraine and Europe 
• Reviewing and challenging of financial models built up by Operational Companies, conduction peers’ analysis
• Methodological support of Operating Companies in financial modeling and calculation of economic indicators
• Analyzing and advising on the investment programs of separate Businesses
• Analyzing market environment
• Collaborating with the management of operating companies, resolving disputes
• Participating in automation projects for reporting and operating activities
• Ad hoc requests by top management

Requirements / experience:

• Higher financial/economic education
• 2-4 years of working experience in consulting (corporate finance, management consulting), large vertically integrated companies (investments, strategy and business development, FPnA, controlling)
• High proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud or alternatives would be a plus
• Upper-intermediate English
• Exposure to energy sector (especially Oil & Gas and/or Renewables) would be a plus
• Proven experience in evaluation of capital-intensive investment projects would be a plus
• CFA, CIMA will be an advantage

• Strong analytical skills, helicopter view
• Stress resilience; ability to meet deadlines in multi-task environment
• In-depth knowledge of investments and financial reporting
• Strong communication skills, the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at different levels
