Our Client

We support a dynamic core-plus infrastructure business (backed by multiple nameplate institutional shareholders) in its search for a Corporate Finance Manager with strong modelling and analysis skills.

The Opportunity

The Corporate Finance Manager is pivotal in supporting the Head of Corporate Finance in making informed strategic investment decisions and providing clear, concise, and highly accurate output to the company's sophisticated shareholder base.

As the owner and custodian of the Corporate Valuation Model, you will :

• Directly be involved in the improvement of the existing corporate valuation model - used for valuation & shareholder reporting, budgeting & forecasting, and strategic planning and other capital-related activities
• Develop robust financial models to facilitate investment and business case analysis, ensuring accuracy and capital allocation.
• Contribute to ad-hoc commercial analysis, providing valuable financial perspectives to guide decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
• Build strong relationships throughout the broader business by adding value and financial rigour to financial decisions.

Preferred Experience & Attributes

• Expertise in financial modelling, valuation, investment analysis, and strategic planning, likely gained in a specialist financial modelling firm where you have developed various models from scratch.
• Demonstrable experience developing financial models for capital-intensive assets
• Strong ability to deliver impactful analytical insights, dig into the details when required and perform various commercial analysis activities.
• Excellent communication skills
• A strong interest in joining a corporate setting and developing your commercial and sector experience
• A willingness to be involved in a variety of high and low-level activities that support

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Proven track record of success in a similar corporate finance or investment analysis role.
