This position is within Global Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T) on the Group Reporting Production (Re)Insurance team, which has recently undergone significant transformation and, as a result, we are looking for the candidate to be forward thinking and to actively participate in continuing to develop the optimal working model with the goal of producing high quality deliverables as efficiently as possible.

About the Role

Main responsibilities include:
- Performing data quality and accuracy checks for the (Re)Insurance workstream, with a special focus on Life & Health / Property & Casualty business.
- Full workstream data validation and analysis (across entities, business units and regions)
- Identification and acting on data correction activities in close collaboration with Sub-ledger, GL teams, Group External Reporting and Business Units
- Consistency checks and additional data review activities in scope for Group Reporting and Group Tax
- Additional Legal Entity results review.
- Preparation and validation of manual adjustments on Group level
- Adherence to the controls and meaningful evidence generation

About You
Alongside curiosity to explore and result orientation, our ideal candidate should have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in Accounting/Finance preferably within the (Re)Insurance industry.
- Deep understanding of IFRS17 standards and disclosure requirements as a big advantage
- Strong expertise in Group Data Model (constraints) and Consistency check requirements
- Ability to efficiently work with applications across the Group reporting landscape from source to target (Sub-ledgers; SAP General Ledger and Group Reporting Platform)
- Proficiency in leveraging relevant reports and tools within SAP (Fiori apps, AfO) and Group Enhanced Finance Repository (Power BI)
- Data analysis and visualization techniques to interpret errors and rejections.
- Ability to derive conclusions based on review and accounting investigation for specific transactions (such as business shifts, intracompany balances, other Group specific checks)
- Understanding of the productive Finance closing activities and timelines, incl. interactions of systems, interfaces and various teams involved
- Participation in special Group reporting relevant transactions or projects impacting GRP activities
