About the Role
• Responsible for EV-related financial metrics (including EV / VONB / UFSG) and drive the process optimization to ensure stability and sustainability for the team
• Lead a sizeable team and drive different functions to deliver high quality of financial results
• Manage the financial KPIs for EV financial metrics, responsible for business plan and regular forecasting for EV metrics. Understand the financial & business issues and make professional recommendations to management
• Drive different functions and provide guidance for process optimization

As the Director of Actuarial Valuation and Analysis, you will play a key role in leading the actuarial valuation and analysis function, as well as implementing important financial projects. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation, delivery, and analysis of EV-related financial results (including EV, VONB, UFSG) on a timely basis as per AIA Group requirements
- Take charge of overseeing the annual budget process and conducting regular financial forecasts to monitor performance.
- Provide detailed analysis on the movements in key financials and communicate the key drivers in the results to senior management
- Ensure compliance with EV Standard and Guidance issued by AIA Group
- Lead the auditor's review process, negotiate agenda, and prioritize tasks and resources
- University/College graduate with at least 15 years of shown experience
- Attained Fellowship in Actuarial professional examination
- Good managerial skills and analytical mind
- Experience in people management and coaching
- Ability to investigate complex technical issues and communicate the findings and implications
- Stochastic modelling experience with Prophet ALS will be an advantage
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficient in MS Office and data analysis techniques is crucial
